Associa Property Management: The Good and the Bad

function of property management

Associa is a property management company that manages residential, commercial, and luxury high-rise properties in the United States. With an annual revenue of more than $1 billion and over 120 employees, the Dallas-based juggernaut is the envy of its peers. It holds the title as the largest community manager in the globe and is responsible for managing more than 12,000 municipalities and over a half a million square feet of property.

AppFolio, Associa's proprietary platform, helped redesign the website. Prospective tenants can now apply digitally to their desired units on the new website. Associa staff will be able to manage their units more efficiently by using new features within the app. Tenants now have the ability to pay rent through the renter platform. And, as a result of the aforementioned upgrade, the average time to lease a unit has been reduced from 30 days to just over 21 days.

Associa can also make mistakes. Residents used to need to make paper payments to Associa to be able to purchase a house. Despite having the right tools, the company was slow to implement new and improved technology. Other shortcomings include a poor resident email list and an outdated smartphone app. There are also many trip hazards in concrete sidewalks.

Associa offers a variety of great amenities, including on-demand maintenance and the best financial services. Associa also provides customized services for clients.

While Associa may be not the best company in the entire world, their product is well-respected and a good step in the right directions. While this may not be the most impressive company, Associa has a very loyal customer base. This is an incredible feat considering Associa serves more than two million communities each year. It is important to remember that customer service is key. Associa offers a lot of confidence to residents of its thousands of properties. However, that's not to say that you should give up your dream of owning a home just to settle for a lease.

Associa currently holds the title of Best Property Management Company in America. However, this shows how important it can be to have a trusted property management firm on your side. Although the competition isn't stiff, there are a few worthy contenders like Keystone Pacific Property Management and Community Management Associates for the title. Associa remains a trusted name and will continue to serve its customers well over the years.

How To

How to Replace a Broken Window?

The most common home improvement task is to replace broken windows. This involves fixing any damage caused by the glass. This repair will take only 30 minutes. If you don't know how to replace broken glass, you could cause more damage to your home. This article offers some useful tips to replace a broken window.

First, remove the old glass from its frame

First, take out all the screws that are holding the glass in place. Next, take out the lock at top center of the window frame's bottom section. Next, lift the window upwards so it isn’t attached to sill plates (the metal bars below the floor). The last step is to gently loosen all remaining screws with a tool. Clean the panes thoroughly after they are taken out.

Second step: Clean your new glass

Use a dry towel or paper towel to clean the glass. A spray bottle filled with water, rubbing alcohol and water can be used to clean debris stuck beneath the glass.

Third Step: Reinstall new glass

Reattach the window panels to the frames. With the tip of a screwdriver, push down on the bottom edge of the outermost window pane. Gently push down on the lower edge of the outermost pane with the tip of a screwdriver. Then move to the next pane, pushing it firmly against the previous pane before reattaching it. Continue to insert the panes until you have assembled the whole window. Seal the area where the panes meet with silicone caulk gun.

Fourth step: Repair the damage

When installing the new glass, inspect the area around the hole to determine whether any additional repairs are needed. Two small pieces of wood should be placed along the edges of each hole if the crack is near the corner. These wooden blocks will give strength to the window and act as spacers between the glass and the weatherproofing material.

The fifth step is to seal the area.

After the glass is replaced, apply silicone caulking to all edges of your window frame. This will create a seal between the glass frame and the wallboard. You can find silicone caulking in hardware stores and online. Be sure to choose a color that matches the existing paint on the walls.

Allow the caulking to cure overnight. Once the caulking is fully set, don't disturb it. You could crack the caulking if you wait too long.
